I was born to parents who were self-employed. I watched them be challenged and succeed with various business ventures - property developments, gold mines, art galleries, farming ventures, timber felling, road haulage and fast food outlets.

My father gave me the inspiration to be a ‘business man’ and I too have been challenged by businesses. The vast majority of business challenges I have overcome.

I have formally studied Business Management and Financial Accounting for five years. I was once awarded a Bursary but I have also worked to fund my studies.

I have written two books and a few articles on small business and these have been used as educational and reference materials. Thus far I have assisted, consulted to and given advice to over 2000 small businesses and I have worked in Europe, Africa and now the USA.

I am passionate about small business.
